ScrapbookFlair introduces Reciprocal Linking & ScrapbooksPlease launches Affiliate Program
New features from leading scrapbook community offers other sites ways to make money through referrals.
ATLANTA, April 25, 2008 – On the 2nd anniversary of its launch, Aurora Digital Imaging today announced another major set of enhancements of its popular Scrapbook Flair community site (www.ScrapbookFlair.com), the first major enhancement in 12 months. The new features that have been added include:
1. Reciprocal Linking
2. Awards Galleries for winners in Challenges and Weekly Contests
3. Affiliate Program for Scrapbook Products
The Reciprocal Linking Feature allows our Members to have direct links to other websites or Blogsites, in exchange for a link to the Members ScrapbookFlair home page. This connects and extends the community to the rest of the scrapping world in a direct and reciprocal way.
The ScrapbookFlair community has also added Award Galleries for its popular Challenge section and for its weekly contests: Scrapbook of the Week, Week’s Funniest Scrapbooks and also the Editor’s Choice Scrapbooks. Every Member can automatically display their awards on their Home Page with award icons which link back to the winning pages.
The Affiliate Program has begun to be offered by ScrapbookFlair’s sister site, ScrapbooksPlease. ScrapbooksPlease offers a wide range of products for Digital Scrapbookers including printed scrapbooks, framed prints, magnets and page prints using a wide range of glamour and value-priced papers. The site views itself as the professional resource for Digital Scrappers.
“Scrapbook Flair has grown in a wonderful way over the last year, with over 75,000 registered Members from all 50 states and over 150 countries” said Rae Ann Gregg, Editor of ScrapbookFlair.“ It’s our 2nd birthday and it’s immensely gratifying to hear from our Members how much the ScrapbookFlair community means to them.”
This is the first major improvement in the community in a year, following several consecutive releases. When asked why the hiatus, Chief Marketing Officer Mark VanderBerg said: “We’re working on something big. It should be ready in a few months. We can’t say a lot about it at the moment, but we think both new and experienced scrappers alike will think it’s pretty cool.”
Scrapbook Flair is a unique community web site that makes it easy to create and share digital scrapbooks, including free digital scrapbook software for digital scrapbookers who are just getting started. Originally introduced on April 25, 2006, the community site has risen among over 200 scrapbook communities worldwide to one of the leading scrapbook websites in the world.
Becoming a ScrapbookFlair Member is free. Every community site member gets a home page, message center, and gallery for showcasing their scrapbooks – publicly or privately – to an unlimited number of family, friends or colleagues. In addition to countless scrapbook galleries, ScrapbookFlair features forums, blogs, and groups that can discuss and compare scrapbooks with one another. Digital scrap bookers will also be able to become “friends” or “fans” of other Scrapbook Flair members, initiating a continuing dialogue. Countless free designs and embellishments are offered for download.
